I have had time (plus it was part of my job as curriculum coordinator) to think of fun, interactive lessons over the past years that I am now sharing with you! Check them out!
All have videos and written explanations along with a shopping list.

What kid doesn't like construction? This lesson is based on Steve Light's book, Builders and Breakers. I explain how to make this activity appropriate for infants and toddlers all the way up to big kids as I have used this lesson for a summer camp once serving a variety of ages.
Also, I talk about a MUST HAVE tool set, SAFE for kids, that cuts cardboard!!
This activity covers gross motor movement, science (future engineers!!), literacy, and counting.
"I could not believe how long the infant toddler class played with this lesson, at least 45 minutes! ~ Ms. Katie Sue, children's librarian

I love to take wonderful books like Herve Tullet's Press Here and turn them into a 3D activity! Kids will learn vocabulary including color words and "ball" while playing the entire time.
The local directors requested I create lesson ideas for Infant and toddlers, so I am excited to present them for you here, as that age group mostly gets health and safety lessons.
"Those babies loved playing with the balls, they started saying the word "Ball" and "Red"...it was really neat to watch!" ~ Ms. Beth, Assistant director

The Tooth Fairy Needs help collecting teeth! Who is ready to be a trainee? This lesson includes dramatic play, gross motor, and math skills.
It would be perfect if you want the kids to learn about dental care, bring in a local dentist, request free toothbrushes and stick some wings on that doctor to play along with the kids.
"This is such a cool lesson! The kids wanted to do it over and over again." ~ Julie Murphy Specials Pre-K Teacher

This is a really unique way to story tell! Yes, you use puppets, but they are shadows... not only do the kids learn the science of shadows, but they also learn narrative skills, the precursor to those comprehension tests in elementary school.
This style of story telling would be perfect for a special event or to do in your classroom. I show you how to use stories and songs the kids already know, mess them up and have the kids correct you. That also means they will be watching from start to finish!
" The kids were laughing and correcting Ms.Susan, fully engaged. They paid more attention to this show than when the zoo came to visit with animals!" ~ Ms. Autumn, Preschool Director

I created Tent Adventures a few years ago when I started Fabfriz Education doing school visits. I couldn't do a "normal" story time, it had to be an ADVENTURE.
But how do I immerse kids in a jungle, a spring garden, fly them around the world to experience the winter holidays, or take them into outer space?
By building whatever environment I wanted in a 10x10 tent, that's how. Kids, parents, teachers, directors, everyone gets excited about what is going to be in the tent THIS time?
Intrigued? I thought so. Visit my social media pages to see a tent adventure in action! "How to" videos will be up soon.
"Oh, the tent adventures, I have never seen anything like it before. The kids get so excited before Ms. Susan arrives, and are beside themselves with curiosity when they walk in and see the tent." ~ Kathy, Preschool director
