Why I Created The Fabfriz Formula You Ask?
I have been working in the early childhood community for about 30 years as both a public and private school teacher and a curriculum coordinator creating lesson activities and PD for the Nashville Public Library. Now, I do it on my own, MY WAY.
I KNOW what it is like to sit through workshops that you feel like just waste your time. I also know how hard it is to get kids attention, and how stressful it can be to work in this field.

Hour 1
Part One: Print Motivation, Print Awareness and Vocabulary
This video explains the first three skills along with examples of using the skill, correctly and incorrectly, during a read aloud. Actual video time 25 minutes, with prompts to discuss the examples as a group, then an activity for teachers to choose a book that works to teach the skill.
Hour 2
Part Two: Phonological Awareness, Narrative Skills, and Letter Knowledge
This video explains the last three skills along with examples of using the skills, correctly and incorrectly, during a read aloud. Actual video time: 25 minutes, with prompts to discuss the examples as a group, then an activity for teachers to choose a book that works to teach the skill.
Hour 3
Part Three: Book Suggestions and Read ALoud Tips
In this video, Susan gives book suggestions and read aloud tips she has been using over the years with preschool kids that grab and KEEP their attention all the way through story time, so you know they are learning. Actual video time: 40 minutes
